GENERAL CALL:
Please submit proposals related to the focus of the zine (see 'home' page) by March 15, 2022. Submissions can be fully finished pieces, abstracts that you'll write a paper about, a note with an idea, a draft, a description of an artistic piece to include (e.g., a score, images, poetry), and so on. You'll have time after the submission to work up what you propose. The second issue will be published in Summer 2022.
1. All submissions should be sent to my email: contingentdivinizations@gmail.com. We'll chat from there!
2. Submissions are rolling. Send something! The aim is to publish at least 2 issues/year: winter and summer.
3. All will be published in English. I am happy to involve a translator (you, a friend of yours, or I can ask around) if desired.
4. Any length. Things can be 1 page long to many pages. For instance, if it made sense, we could dedicate a single issue to one long piece, or even split it up into multiple issues. It'll depend on how many submissions there are.
5. Any medium. Essays, visuals, poetry, fiction, music scores, links to audio or video, letters, notes, sketches, etc. I'm really very open about what comes in as long as it is related to Meillassoux's writing and/or speculative materialism in general.
6. Translations. If someone's work on Meillassoux (or related) is published in a different language and you'd like to translate it to English, that'd be great. Let's talk about it!
7. You can publish stuff in here that you have in other publications and/or it can be a repeat from a journal or wherever. I'm sure it's great and I'd love to read it + share it further.
8. If you'd like to do an email interview (or phone), I'd be happy to do that with you and publish it.
