Where do I send stuff?
To my email: contingentdivinizations@gmail.com. If you'd like to mail, that's cool too; my address is under the contact tab.
*Three Important Things*
1. Submissions are rolling and always welcomed. If it can't make it into this issue, it'll go toward the next.
2. I will, within reason and as long as they adhere to the theme, accept all.
3. Any language is fine. These will be published in English though. If you have a translator, we can involve them; otherwise I can do my best to find a translator for you. (If you are into translating, let's talk!)
What type of thing are you looking for?
All in all, I'm open to just about anything that can fit within the form of a zine. Some examples could be:
1. GENERAL: essays / manifestos / documentation / journaling / lists / pictures / drawings / scores (music) / poems / fragments / drafts / letters / stories / fiction / science-fiction / comic strips .... and so on!
2. ONGOING (SPECIAL) CALL: letters to the dead / documentation of experiences with the dead / voices from the dead / experiments geared toward the dead. Resurrection and the dead play a big role in this philosophy (see: Spectral Dilemma) and I'm fascinated by it. I hope to include at least one of these things in each issue, under the serial heading "Correspondences with the Dead."
3. EMAIL INTERVIEWS: I'm happy to conduct and publish an email interview with anyone about Meillassoux, my questions here, and your work. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to do that.
What are the formal restrictions?
None, really. Except:
I won't usually do color. I can, but we'd have to discuss it. Obviously it's more expensive.
Any length. Short, super short, long, super long. Whatever it is, let's do it. If you're not sure, just email me and ask. Chances are it'll be fine.
How big is a run, what's it look like? Will I get some?
50 copies. Then I'll print to order. I'll likely make them available online after a certain number have be sent out.
B & W / 8.5" x 11" folded in half / 60lb cover, off-white / 32lb pages, ivory.
Around 40 pages per issue. I will make it longer or shorter, depending on submissions.
Yes I'll happily send some to you.
